課程概述

This semester, the English Composition II course will continue to develop students' skills in academic writing. In particular, students will be further introduced to strategies that are essential in writing academic essays: ways to understand others' words and develop self opinions in response to writing audience and fit in writing purposes. 

課程目標
 By the end of this course, students will be able to develop independent writing skills through the step-by-step writing process strategies. Students will also compose genres of writing when different topics are provided.

 Students need to come to each class session and engage actively in various writing-related activities. Good learning attitudes include arriving class on time and engage actively in communicative activities.

 Writing assignments

 Studens will compose four writing assignments based on the writing topics of the textbook.

 Student-led writing session

 Students will sign up on and lead one writing session on one reading topic in the textbook.
